Module #2: Stress Fundamentals
In this module, you'll learn all about the "fight or flight response," which is how we experience stress in the human mind and body. You will learn all about what triggers the activation of the fight or flight response, as well as how to turn it off and reduce it's long-term damaging effects.
You will also learn about the subtle symptoms and signs of stress and how and why they occur -- and most importantly how they wreak havoc in our lives.
Lesson #1: The Fight or Flight Response
We experience stress primarily through the activation of our fight or flight response. When your fight or flight response is activated, your mind, body and emotions are all mobilized to protect yourself from potential harm, whether that threat is physical or psychological, real or imagined. Knowing how to turn off your body’s fight or flight response is the single most important thing you can do to learn how to properly manage stress in your life.
